A frequent visitor to Salt Lake City, Weinmann has directed numerous shows for Utah Opera including H.M.S. Pinafore, The Mikado, The Pirates of Penzance, The Gondoliers, Cenerentola and L'Italiana in Algeri. Additional directing engagements include The Barber of Seville for the Seagle Music Colony; Naomi in the Living Room by Jonathan Bailey Holland for the New Gallery Concert Series; Lee Hoiby's Bon Appetit for Opera Providence; Ashlawn Opera's Night Under the Stars; Carmina Burana and Sweeney Todd for Syracuse Opera; L'elisir d'amore and Don Pasquale for Opera on the James; co-direction of Werther, Rinaldo and Don Giovanni (with Greg Smucker) for Boston Opera Collaborative; and Faust et Marguerite, Naomi in the Living Room, La Rondine:Remix, and Love in the Time of..., plus many 10-minute operas as part of BOC's annual festival, Opera Bites!, for Boston Opera Collaborative.
Weinmann has served on the faculties of both the New England Conservatory and the Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and as a guest faculty member at the Longy School of Music. As a guest artist for Utah Opera's Resident Artist Program, and a member of the faculty for the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria, she continues to train some of today’s most promising and talented young singers both in the US and abroad. Weinmann, with Greg Smucker, is the Co-Artistic Director (on sabbatical 2023-24 season) of Boston Opera Collaborative.
